Auditory processing and listening skills are essential foundation skills needed for Grade One. The weekly sessions with Taryn [PALS] allow them to practice these skills and develop good listening.
Her listening games are always visual, practical and interesting and maintain the children’s interest in fun ways.
It also gives the teachers valuable insight into specific areas that some children may be struggling with when they observe these lessons. The games that are sent home give the parents a good opportunity to spend quality time with their children while developing important pre-reading skills at the same time.”
